Blandy & Blandy acquires Reading law firm

Blandy & Blandy, a prominent law firm in the Thames Valley, is expanding its presence in Reading by acquiring another local firm, Thompson Leatherdale. This well-established firm has been serving the community since 1973.

Under the terms of the acquisition, Nigel Hunt, a longtime member of Thompson Leatherdale since 1979, will join Blandy & Blandy as a consultant in their residential property team. Hunt, along with several of his colleagues, will move to the firm’s Reading office at One Friar Street, with the transition set for September 25.
