1. The Nag's Head
With an average rating of 4.7/5 and being called 'one of the best pubs in the South East', The Nag's Head is a safe choice as being a fantastic pub to visit in Reading. They have a huge forever changing selection of real ales for you to try out, as well as a charming and welcoming interior and beer garden.

2. The Allied Arms
The Allied Arms is a firm favourite amongst many, especially the locals, and has been described as the best pub in Reading. This cosy pub with lots of character boasts lots of choice when it comes to ale as well as a fantastic terrace garden, 'Reading's best kept secret'.

3. The Fisherman's Cottage
Sitting right on the River Kennet, location couldn't be better at this lovely pub. Sit in the beer garden overlooking the canal and enjoy a huge selection of cask ales and craft ciders. Families are very welcome. Please note: The Fisherman's Cottage will not be showing the World Cup.
