Meet March's Wine of the Month: Terra Tangra Organic Mavrud Blend

As it’s still chilly in England, the guys at Novel Wines have decided to try and warm us all up with their pick for March’s wine of the month. Sourced from Bulgaria’s first and only certified organic winery and vineyard, the Terra Tangra Mavrud Blend is a FAB value, full-bodied red wine. This lovely tipple bagged the Gold at the International Organic Wine Awards not long ago. 

Made from a blend of Mavrud, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon fruit grown in the sunny Thracian Valley, there are aromas of fruit brandy, cassis, blackcurrants and vanilla. All this deep fruit character is carried through on the palate with smooth and silky tannins and a pleasing finish.

Pair it with Moussaka or smoky tomato and pepper relish with grilled lamb. Mouth-watering yet? It’s also organic and vegan!
