Reading's Vegan Festival is back for 2018

After the great success of 2017's Vegan Festival in Reading, they've decided to bring it back for another year, and it's looking to be even bigger and better!

At the beginning of 2017, a diverse group of local vegans met up to discuss holding Reading’s first ever dedicated Vegan Festival. These people, who are passionate about all things vegan, wanted to promote this compassionate, ethical, healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle for the benefit of the animals, people and the planet. They didn’t know anything about creating and running a festival but they did it anyway. 

12 months later after having hosted one very successful and busy festival they are back with 2018’s Reading Vegan festival!

The festival is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who want to create a free and friendly festival, they give their spare time and bring tons of enthusiasm to bring you a great day to celebrate all things vegan. 

The Reading Vegan Festival team are planning on having some more great speakers giving informational talks and demonstrations about veganism; as well as a wide range of vegan foods and products – everything from clothing to cosmetics for you to sample and buy.

This event is absolutely free of charge to enter and any money raised from the crowdfunding or sale of hot drinks will be put towards further outreach programmes and keeping the cost of this and future events free.

This year, the Vegan Festival will be taking place on Saturday 22nd September 2018 at Reading Town Hall from 10.30am - 4.30pm.
