The company, based in Surrey, is the company chosen to represent an English success story at various events supported by the DBT in the UK and overseas. They stand alongside three other small businesses chosen to represent Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
CEO Julianne Ponan MBE said: “This is a huge honour for us all at Creative Nature. We do take exports very seriously and see it as an important opportunity for growth. It’s not always easy, given that we’ve had issues post Brexit with exporting into Europe however we’ve dealt with this by exploring markets including the USA, Canada and the Middle East.
In the last few weeks, the team have been invited to meet and share their products and story with Kemi Badenoch MP, Secretary of State for Business & Trade and Sir Keir Starmer at the Labour Party’s recent International Trade event.
“I feel it’s vital to share our story, to encourage other small businesses to get proper advice and support and then take the plunge when it comes to exporting. British goods are popular all over the world and many SMEs simply don’t take the steps needed to send their products out to a global market.”
Coming later this month, Creative Nature’s business development manager Joe Contomichalos will be joining the DBT at the prestigious Gulfood in Dubai (February 20 to 24).
He will be on the Department for Business & Trade stand for the UK showcasing Creative Nature’s products and the brand’s values on a world stage at a show which features the biggest food and drink brands in the world.
It’s known as ‘the’ place to go to source new products. The show itself is held at the Dubai Trade Centre and has seven zones covering: beverages; dairy; fats & oils; pulses, grains & cereals; meat & poultry; power brands & world food. Creative Nature will be showcased in the Shk Saeed Hall.
Creative Nature offers free-from bars, baking mixes, sweet treats and superfoods which free from the top 14 allergens, vegan friendly and nutritious. Their products can be found in supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Co-Op and Ocado; High Street retailers like TK Maxx; online at The Vegan Store, Mighty Small and Holland & Barrett as well as overseas. The company already exports to 18 countries worldwide and is looking to grow its global business. For more information visit https://www.creativenaturesuperfoods.co.uk
